12. Reporting your results

Use the information from the previous sections to create a worksheet that includes:
1. your name
2. the date
3. Table with a title
X axis values from your density experiment data
Y axis values from your density experiment data
4. Add a border to your table
5. In the Page Setup menu remove the Cell Gridlines
6. Make a plot of Mass Vs Volume axis values Graphs are always plotted as Y (dependent) variable  vs X (independent) variable.
7. Use Regression to find the slope, y- intercept, and create a plot with the data and a best fit line
8. Print your worksheet and your chart and put them in your notebook.
9. Use the standard lab write-up procedure and include: purpose, procedure (you may refer to this tutorial--write in the www address), results and a conclusion.  Graphs and tables belong in the RESULTS section.  These results should summarized in the CONCLUSION section.
10. The conclusion should restate your results. What was the slope of your line? What was the density of water. How does that value compare to your results from the graph you drew?  Compare the results that you obtained using the graph paper with the results that you obtained using a spreadsheet.  Compare both of these to the value in the Handbook of Chemistry (BIG BLACK BOOK.)
