bulletHomework:
Homework will be assigned. Selected problems will be collected and graded.  It is essential that you do the homework.  You cannot learn the material without doing the homework.  You will be responsible for all of the assigned homework on quizzes and exams. Late homework assignments will not be accepted.

 

bullet Exams:
Three exams will be given during the semester.  At the end of the semester a cumulative Final Exam will be given.
Exams will be given on the days shown in the lecture schedule.  Exams must be taken at the scheduled time. 
bulletQuizzes:
A short quiz, about 10 min,  will be given on the  Friday of each week, except during the weeks when exams are given.
  
bulletAcademic Integrity:
Any cheating on examinations or quizzes is a serious offense.  The first cheating offense results in a zero score.  Any subsequent instance justifies a failing grade in the course. Copying answers and/or using unauthorized notes during quizzes and/or exams are regarded as cheating and will not be tolerated.  The instructor reserves the right to remove any person suspected of cheating from the lecture room.

Letter grades with +/- evaluations will be assigned. The grade distribution will be as follows:
Three Hour Exams 50%
Final Exam 25%
Homework 10%
Quizzes 15%
