| Homework: Homework will be assigned. Selected problems will be collected and graded. It is essential that you do the homework. You cannot learn the material without doing the homework. Some homework problems will require the use of the computational software Mathcad. Several copies of Mathcad are available on computers in the Chemistry Department. A Mathcad Tutorial is available on this website.You will be responsible for all of the assigned homework on quizzes and exams. Late homework assignments will not be accepted. | |||||||||
| Exams: Three exams will be given during the semester. At the end of the semester a cumulative Final Exam will be given. Exams will be given on the days shown in the lecture schedule. Exams must be taken at the scheduled time. | |||||||||
| Quizzes:
A short quiz, about 10 min, will be given on the Friday of each week, except during the weeks when exams are given. | |||||||||
| Cheating: Cheating on an exam or quiz will result in a grade of F on that particular test. | |||||||||
