Remote Access

Back Home Next

Remote access to the CSUPERB Confocal Microscope at CSU Stanislaus is possible by using the VCN Viewer.  VNC stands for Virtual Network Computing. It is, in essence, a remote display system which allows you to view a computing 'desktop' environment not only on the machine where it is running, but from anywhere on the Internet and from a wide variety of machine architectures.  Connection can be achieved with either a PC or Macintosh computer.  For further information and to arrange a remote operation session, contact Dr. Janey Youngblom (jyoungb@toto.csustan.edu).
