The following table provides important information needed for this
course and links to other documents you will need. Note that you should prepare for
the experiments in the order below. The due dates for
the given and previous experiments are
provided. You must manage your own schedule in
completing the labs in a timely manner. No time will be permitted outside of your normal lab time to work in the
lab. Everyone is working under the same time constraints, so plan ahead and be ready
to work in lab. It is expected that you will work on several labs
simultaneously (multi-tasking) in this course.
First labs will begin on the first available days in the
semester: Section 2 (Almy) students will begin on Thursday,
February 14 and section 1 (Stone) students will begin on Monday, February 18. You
will need to have downloaded the Syllabus and the "Structures from
Spectra" with its first six spectra for this lab. Blank lab books will be
provided during this first session.
